Dance

We offer classes in levels beginner through Advanced in the following genres (Note: Current enrollment in Ballet is required for Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary, Acro, and Leaps/Jumps/Turns classes, it is recommended for Hip Hop and Tap.)

BALLET- Students learn classical ballet techniques in the appropriate levels beginner through advanced pointe.

​

ACRO- Students learn to combine the tumbling skills of gymnastics with the artistry of dance.

​

TAP- Students learn to use rhythm, sound, and movement to create dance.

​

JAZZ- Students learn a variety of broadway and jazz dance styles and techniques.

​

LYRICAL/CONTEMPORARY- Students will learn to show the emotional interpretation of music and lyrics.

​

HIP HOP - Students will learn techniques in hip hop and street dance.

​

STRENGTH AND FLEXIBILITY - This class focuses on developing strength and flexibility in dancers and gymnasts.  Available in Stafford
 

Gymnastics

 

Gymnastics skills are taught at age/skill appropriate levels to gymnasts at levels beginner through advanced.  Students will learn proper technique on floor, bars, and beam.  Available in Stafford and Quantico.

Adapted Dance and Gymnastics:

Students of all ages and abilities learn basic gymnastics and dance techniques safely adapted to meet their needs.  Students also work on strength, flexibility, communication, fine and gross motor skills through interactive activities.  Available in Stafford.

Combo classes: Preschool/early elementary 

 

Our combo classes offer a combination of dance and gymnastics or acro for students age 2 1/2 - 6 at the time of registration. Students in all combo classes are taught age appropriate basic dance and gymnastics/acro technique. Available in Stafford and Quantico.

       TOTS - Age2.5-3     *     MINI - Age4-5     *     DANCE ADVENTURES - Age 6-9

 

Dance With Me/Tumble With Me classes: 

Ages 1-3 years

 

DANCE WITH ME is focused on caregiver and child interaction.  The instructor guides caregivers and students through Creative Movement and Acro skills.  This class encourages development of motor, social, and overall developmental skills. Available in Stafford & Quantico.

 

TUMBLE WITH ME. Climb, jump, tumble, and play with your toddler in an open play gym. This class encourages development of motor, social, and overall developmental skills. This class is NON INSTRUCTIONAL.  Available in Stafford & Quantico.

Birthday Parties

 

Enjoy your child's birthday while we do all the work!  D&G Expressions staff will decorate, provide gym play and games, goodie bags, and cleanup for you.  You provide guests, food and drinks.  You may provide us with your decorations, or choose from one of our themes. (we can do other gatherings too).  You may choose 1.5 or 2 hour parties.  Call for more information.  Available in Stafford.
