At D&G Expressions, the safety and well being of our students and staff is our top priority.  Throughout the COVID pandemic, D&G Expressions continues to review and update our policies based on CDC and VDH recommendations and requirements.  In response to CDC and VDH recommendations and requirements, D&G Expressions has implemented the following policies and precautions.  These policies and precautions will be updated as necessary to ensure the health and well being of our students and staff. 

 

While we remain open for in-person classes, we also offer live stream dance classes for our Stafford location classes.  At this time, virtual gymnastics classes are not offered. Please contact us if you are interested in virtual gymnastics classes as these may be arranged.  (Virtual gymnastics classes will focus on conditioning, floor skills, and balance beam skills.)

• Lobbies are open.

• Masks are currently optional both in lobbies and in classes.

• Temperature checks will be conducted on everyone entering our facilities.  Anyone registering a fever will be asked to go home until it is certain they are COVID free.

• Frequently touched surfaces will be disinfected frequently, all classrooms will be spray disinfected as needed, as well as deep cleaned daily. Disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer are available for students/staff to use at any time during class.

• All of our instructors and office staff are fully vaccinated. Instructors will follow CDC/VDH guidelines on wearing protective masks while teaching classes.  Instructors will also wear a mask at parent/student request.

• Hand sanitizer is made readily available in every classroom.  Students and staff are encouraged to use sanitizer often.  

• Social distancing will be enforced as necessary.  Instructors will provide minimal spotting/close contact only as necessary.

• Students/instructors wearing masks during class will be allowed "air breaks" as necessary.  Doors to outside may be opened to provide additional circulation and fresh air.
